The Green Future Index is a research program by MIT Technology Review Insights sponsored by Kyndryl, Intel, and Iris Ceramica Group. The research was conducted through in-depth secondary research and analysis along with interviews with global experts on climate change, green energy, and technologies that will drive decarbonization.

It measures the extent to which 76 countries and territories are moving toward a green future by reducing carbon emissions, developing clean energy, innovating in green sectors, and preserving the environment, as well as the degree to which governments are implementing effective climate policies.
